Breakout Sessions

Build Partnerships, Drive Consensus, and Inform Robotics Strategy

Symposium breakout sessions bring robotics stakeholders together to advance technical knowledge, develop strategic commercial partnerships, and build actionable consensus or perspective on critical issues of a policy, technical, or business-focused nature.

We are inviting proposals for host-led Breakout Sessions at the CRC 2026 Symposium in Toronto. Rather than rehashing old industry debates, we strongly encourage proposals that introduce fresh perspectives, unique re-framings, or build directly upon insights from prior years' breakouts.

NEW THIS YEAR: Select Breakout Sessions will be allocated dedicated meeting rooms equipped with full audiovisual (AV) support!

Selection Process & Sponsor Benefits

  • Breakout session opportunities are limited. Proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance, quality, originality, diversity of perspectives, and overall contribution to the symposium program.
  • While all submissions undergo the same review process, CRC Symposium sponsors and exhibitors will receive priority consideration during program development.
  • In addition to priority consideration, sponsors benefit from enhanced visibility throughout the event.
  • Organizations interested in maximizing their visibility and engagement at CRC 2026 are encouraged to explore our Exhibitor & Sponsorship opportunities.

Breakout Room & Table Assignments

  • A select number of Breakout Sessions will be assigned dedicated meeting rooms equipped with audiovisual (AV) support, providing hosts with an enhanced environment for discussion, collaboration, and audience engagement.
  • Once the final Breakout Sessions have been published, symposium attendees will be invited to select their preferred sessions. These selections will be used by the CRC Symposium organizing committee to determine room or table assignments.
  • Priority consideration for dedicated room assignments will be given to CRC Symposium Sponsors and Exhibitors and to popular breakout sessions.
  • Hosts are encouraged to actively promote their Breakout Session and recruit participants through their professional networks.
