At Electromate, Gabriel works with Canadian
engineering teams designing and building high-
performance robotics systems. His focus is on
electromechanical motion control hardware. He
is involved with the Canadian Robotics Council,
helping strengthen connections across Canada’s
robotics ecosystem. Outside of work, Gabriel
volunteers at his local community centre,
helping youth explore STEM through hands-on
robotics programs and competitions.

Robin Lefler is a driven and empathetic leader in the robotics and automation space. She is passionate about helping tech companies thrive through collaboration, creativity, and innovative solutions. As a dedicated advocate for STEM and the Canadian robotics ecosystem, Robin actively contributes to industry growth and community building, and truly values cultivating meaningful connections.
Exhibition Chair

Professor Brandon J. DeHart has over 20 years of experience in robotics, with deep technical roots in legged mobility, human-centric robotics, and mechatronic system integration. At the University of Waterloo, where he is also a triple alum and an Adjunct Professor, Brandon runs the Waterloo RoboHub, which supports the country's largest and most active robotics research group via a team of dedicated technical staff, one of Canada’s most advanced robotics facilities, and a globally unique fleet of robots.
Brandon has spent his professional career bridging the gap between advanced research and real-world applications in the field of robotics, including advising numerous robotics-focused (and robotics-adjacent) companies and organizations and contributing to the national and international robotics ecosystem through mentorship, strategic partnerships, and public sector collaborations.
He brings a rare blend of deep academic credentials and pragmatic, field-tested experience to the realm of robotics, helping to shape the future through the development and deployment of scalable, intelligent robotic systems that solve real-world problems.
