Matthew Pan is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen’s University and a core member of the Ingenuity Labs Research Institute. He leads the Machine Intelligence and Human-Robot Interaction Laboratory (MItHRIL), where his research explores robotics, haptics, virtual/augmented reality, and human-robot interaction. His work spans physical and social embodied interaction with applications in engineering, health, and the arts. He is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential education.
