Julian Knutzen joined Magna in 2018 as a Research Engineer at the Corporate R&D department in Aurora, ON, Canada. His tasks include discovering and evaluating new technologies with the goal of integrating them into Magna’s product portfolio or improving manufacturing processes, in cooperation with the respective Magna divisions. In 2022, Julian took over the role of Senior Manager – Advanced Technologies, leading the Technology Evaluation Team in North America as part of Corporate R&D. Before joining Magna, Julian worked in the German Automotive Industry for 10 years as a development engineer, most recently in vehicle engineering focusing on NVH and ride comfort for AUDI AG.
