Kevin J. Deluzio (PhD, P.Eng., FCAE, FEIC) is Professor of Mechanical and Materials Engineering and Dean of the Stephen J.R. Smith Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Queen’s University, a role he has held since 2017. As Dean, he is advancing engineering education and championing equity, diversity, and inclusion to ensure equity-deserving groups are fully represented in academia and the profession. He directs the Human Mobility Research Laboratory, served as Chair of Engineering Deans Canada (2021–2023), and is a Fellow of multiple national academies. His contributions include leadership roles in biomechanics and orthopaedic research societies.
