Ramzi Asfour is the Associate Director (Administration) at the Ingenuity Labs Research Institute at Queen’s University. With a background in manufacturing and new product design in the fibre optic, aerospace, and automotive industries, he also was part of the Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation group managing the knowledge transfer and licensing of intellectual property in the Engineering and IT portfolio. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo (2000) and an MBA from Queen’s (2009).
